Here's something I don't suppose you guys see much of around here.
He's a little Super Deformed Gundam kit By Bandai.
They're small and yet very detailed. They have all the quality of Bandai kits. Including snap together engineering, and vinyl ball and socket joints for pose ability.
AND if you spend a little extra time, they can look pretty neat.
I have built a few of these guys, and they are fun, and take as much time as you're willing to spend on 'em.
I used a lot of spray paints (rattle can) and did all of it while the pieces were still on the sprue. Using a lot of car colors from Duplicolor. And some translucents from Krylon. After completion of the build and some detailing with a brush, and acrylics and enamels, I did the panel lines and all sorts of other detailing with fine tipped pen. The eyes, and a couple other details were done using the peel and stick decals.
