Barn find Beetle

Terrific looking diorama, Leighbo. The details you've made are unbelievable. I especially
like the rust effect on Herbie. You've done such a perfect job on this, I hesitate to offer a
suggestion.....might a little dirt or debris on the floor and in the corners of the barn add a
little to the great job you've done already??? Beautiful work, my friend. Congrats. Bill

Thanks Bill, comments are always appreciated, there will be more dirt and debris yet!

I'm just in the process of putting algae build up on the barn and then there will be some more muck and dirt and rust and grime.....

Many thanks my friend, we're on the same wavelength!

Hi Guys

Been doing a lot of weathering this week, I finished up painting the planks and added lots of green slime to them too.

I also finished adding the details to the car and sprayed matt clear to frost up the windows, followed by lots of leaves and then plenty more algae to get it looking really decayed.

Still more rusting and weathering to add to the mix and I'll soon be finished up.

Thanks for looking

there is only 1 thig wich looks wrong and thats the tyres they would modt likly be flat, but other than that this is Outstanding

Yeah I know what you mean spud, the trouble is they are solid rubber so its hard to make them flat and I didn't want to risk ruining them by melting them.

ya thats is the problem. i geuss all the other Awsomness of teh dio makes up for it ;D

Does look fantastic ! brilliant work . I would suggest some dirt /oil stains on the bench it looks a bit too clean ,otherwise ....first class :)

Chris.

Wow, I applaud the shear amount of scatch building in this project. Just GREAT!

If the was a bigger emotion than  I would use it. Fantastic work there mate, just awesome.

Hi Guys, just been finishing off some details this week, and now i'll call this done, just in time for the Competition!

The main work has just been in putting things together, adding the final touches of weathering/moss and the other barn door, so here's the pics

I have had a blast making this one and although I have a WW2 diorama planned for the BSC, if I get time I think I might make a second entry along these lines too.

Anyway as always thanks for looking and see you next Sunday in the competition!

Brilliant ...just Brilliant !!! ..good luck in the comp ;)
