I got called to work tonight and was sent out to do "city pick up and dleivery, I got to go inside the BAE, york PA plant. They build and rebuild heavy tracked and wheeled armored vehicles at this location. REALLY cool stuff, Sadly photographs and equipment to take such are not permitted, I will see if I can find some images that arereleased to the public. In addition to new mine protected wheel vehicles of various types, there were LOTS of Bradley's in condition ranging from new fresh hulls to IED damaged wrecks to fresh rebuilds and parts. In addition there were lots of M88 recovery vehicles again factory fresh rebuilds to rusty hulls. There was a treat though, back in the back lot is a turret less PATTON hull of some type. I need to go compare my references to tell what type for sure. It may have been a M46 or M47, it was NOT a M60 or M48. Not sure what it is used for, maybe a tractor. Still pretty cool.
