Started this because I have attention issues. Haha. This is as one of the airfix kits I received a few weeks back. Airfix eventually did make it good and gave me a partial refund. Probably more of a refund than they needed to. I had to do some putty work and sanding- looked like a mouse had chewed on the hull in spots. Anyway this will be very slow progress.

Hi it's 1/72. I'll try to post some better pics later today, I worked on it a little more. It's an old mold and thus the "mouse bites". Packaging was awful which added to damage- that was my point to airfix. I understood it was an old mold but old mold doesn't mean you have to throw all the parts in one bag , in a box, and they had removed several parts (damaged ones(, from the sprues. So if you're interested just understand you will likely have damage.

Got a bit more done today. For some ******* reason I thought I could mount the pole at the front of the boat now instead of waiting until I was done. So it's a bit short.

A little further today. I need to fix life rafts my fade job doesn't look faded at all. I'm happy with the torpedo tubes though and it's coming together nicely.

Everything is attached except cables and flags and the torpedo hook. Tomorrow I'll varnish then on to weathering and final will be cables. Still don't have a good pic of the torpedo cables hopefully the description I found is accurate and I understand it correctly. Fun little boat!

Coming along nicely. Hit the deck with a weathering spray. It barely perceptible- looks more dull than discolored. Will try to hit some areas with deck wash today and the bottom of the hull with some weathering effects the black is a little strong.

I really enjoyed this build which is funny because it was one of the kits I complained most about to airfix. Yes, I had to putty and sand but not any worse than other older kits I've had to do. I'd have to say this is probably one of my favorite builds so far.
