1992 Tamiya 1/12 CUP NOODLE Honda NSR 250 (AKIRA MASHUP)

Hi. So this one might take a bit of explaining. If you've not seen the 1980s anime AKIRA you should check it out. It's a great cyberpunk/dystopian sci-fi that centers around a Tokyo bike gang and some weird stuff happens. One of the mains, Kaneda has this awesome bike seen in the movie poster.

Anyway. I had this toy, then I found the cup noodle bike and this is all I could think about.

So I'm making a shadowbox just like the movie poster, but mashed up a little.

Ha I used an old dirt bike trick to stitch up the simulated damage on the rear plastics. Hah.
