Help Support Scale Model Addict:

At a closer look, they may look not very detailed, but their purpose is to being printed, so for 1/72 scale, some of them even pushed printable limits.
Anyway I tried not to make any compromises between visual looks at the model scale and real dimensions.
All model measuring units are millimeters. Models are already scaled to 1/72.

Cant wait to share!
This is shot on macro, also i still wait for brass and bronze pens to finish the ammo (they're on route, couple of days needed), but even now, every single round of 2010 shells and 780 grenades will be visible!

all ammo crates and surplus. Weathering and matte finish still not applied. 2 slightly different shades, weathering will be individual.
About FFARS - painting with white pen will spare me weathering - imperfectness of the paint will save me tons of additional work.
So i intentionally will paint badly :)

I found another videoclip:

And just one second in it (5:37) forces me to fully redesign the TOW launcher.

There are front and rear aerodynamic fairings on the launcher (seen on some other pictures), but they are droppable or destroyable, as on LAU-3 rocket pods. A strange solution, i think, but this is reality...

I think the final result is far better and worth the time i spent.

A Small update: I modelled and recieved all additional printed parts -radar, antennas, pitots, etc.
Everything needed is available!
Working primarily on ordnance - this is the most unsure and time consuming part.
I made test placement - unfirtunately this will be the layout - ordnance is too much, but i am greedy and cant skip the bombs and Bullpups!

A placement helper. Without it everything can be ruined easily.

Some new detail placement - the oil radiator vent is ral 3D, so i will make a hole into the fuselage for it.

Better looking with engine exhaust, than without.

Tons of tiny detail. I am amazed how little place they take!

20% of cannon rounds are finished.

Hi, 49 of 114 rockets ready. 5 minutes for one. Grenades and ammo crates are completed. A real mesh for air filters. The last missing pieces - cockpit instrumentals are now travelling to me and will be here in a few days. Cant wait to start with the chopper itself!

Nick,

PM me. I have the photos. For some reason I cannot get them to load, even one at a time. Maybe a direct message will overcome the issue.

Thanks. I figured out the problem, lol. I was not placing any verbiage in this block before trying to send the photos. Thanks again for clarifying the attachment limit.

Ah, yes, you can't send an empty message with only attachments. What you can do, though, is insert the photos into a message that has nothing else in it. After uploading the photo, click its thumbnail to get options to put it into the message.

Hi, Bob!
Those photos are really amazing and will be extremely helpful for me!
Thank You very much!

Sorry for no posting sooner. I was tired of ammunition painting (those FFARS are infinite!) and decided to switch a little to the model itself.
I started with filters, as they needed holes in the fuselage. The air filters still can be made better, so i'm reworking them. They will become like a sandwitch and will have a flat thin panel with a mesh after it. But when this will be done, i will close the fuselage and will continue with the cockpit. I received the 3D decals for the instrumentation panels, but they will need some cutting and reshaping.
I will soon finish the all three rotors, i dont have doubths there.
Unfortunately these photos gave me a bad feeling, that Anigrand model is thinner and longer than the prototypes, but i need to live with that, i will do what i can.
Also i planned to use an olive green for the min color, like on Hueys. This prototype is coloured more brownish, like NATO olive. I hope olive green is real option too.

I reworked and completed air filters. Unfortunately, in excitement, i cut the holes for them too backwards, forgetting, that air intakes have parts to add, making them longer. This bothers me, until i fixed that, i think, successfully.

I closed the fuselage and finished the pusher prop. More updates will follow.
