Building that with a friend to pormote his model shop, it's going to be s BLAST!!

:eek: Talk about "In for a penny, in for a pound." !!! Have fun with that one guys. I'll be following this build for sure. What's the weight gonna be like when it's done?

It's from Dragon, they got a whole selection of 1/6...I'm guessing anyone who sells Dragon models can get it for you

one of the inner spring on the buggy didn't get molded properly and i had to cut out some of the inside to make it fit, other than that smooth sailing so far :D

Oh yeah the buggy alone has 26 pces! :eek:

Sure you have enough bench space Jeff.

that's the plan actually, building the small stuff in my shop and going to do the final assembly & paint in the garage :)
 
Kit like that takes a whole different approach when it comes to painting it.

Take the bogies for example. I think personally, I would have painted all of the bogie wheels and rubber first as well as the actual suspension piece first before assembling, rather than trying to paint it after. Otherwise you will need to be buying some stock in 3M for the amount of masking tape you are going to need! LOL

Should be assembling the lower hull tomorrow, if it's warm eough in the garage! :p
