1/48 Russian Knights Flanker

Hi fellow addicts, I have laid my eyes on a Russian Knight for a while, now here it is, almost there. This is a real quick speed build since the F-14 vandy 2 weeks ago. Having a lot of struggles with the decals with mistakes here there (happens when I want to get the darn thing done in a day lol) and ended up painting all of the stuff on the vertical stabilizer and the wings instead. Probably another week till completion.





Some blue paint on my hand smeared all over the nose, respray the head....

Yep the very first Su-27 they introduced in the 90s. I noticed they had a special Russian Knights edition but I got this for cheap on ebay using Begemot decals. I'm terrible with large surface decals so they didn't help much.

Doing flankers give me extra satisfaction than other aircraft, I think i'll do a PLAAF version next or carrier based.
