Lol cheers guys, Mfun I used Life Colors own thinner 50/50 just like I do with Tamiya paints, works like a treat ;)

I will give a new opportunity to the Lifecolour paints in my next paint session...
They are great, and dry to a real Matt finish.

Working on the tracks guys, I've had a complete brain fart and forgetton how to do them lol!

So while remembering how to paint tracks I made some spare ones:

No kidding. Seriously this looks great MJ. Appears much larger than quarter scale. ...that's the idea I guess, but you're working it out very well.

Thanks guys. I'm debating on weather to use the tow cable or not...it's basically a piece of string that's supplied with the kit. It looks ok but I have no idea how to paint it? If I just use V model color paints it will stiffen up so I may just use a dark wash on it...? Then shine it up with a bit of Dark Steel pigments perhaps, rust and repeat. Are there after market 1/48 tow cables? I have the armourfarm one which I've used before on 1/35 but that may be too thick at this small scale.

Looking pretty sweet! Maybe you can take a few strands off the armor farm cable and then re-twist it?

Seems to me with the AF tow cable you could remove some strands thus reducing the outside diameter a bit.

Scott & Adam, I'll try that out, stick one end in the drill and give it a whirl. And not loose fingers.

Awesome Work John, yer a very well rounded modeler i must say ;)

It's the little touched like the chain and track that often push a build to the top!! Looking fantastic John!!
