Plodding away on an Hobby Boss LvKv 90C. Have never made a Hobby Boss armour kit before. Been a Tamiya person for the most part and 1/48 at that. This kit has parts for the sake of having parts. Tiny little bits that could easily have been molded on and stupidly small PE, a bit like AFV. Luckily I was able to get a metal barrel so I didn't have to deal with the 2 piece concertina section. I know I certainly won't be wasting my time putting all the track pads on and will only be adding the ones that can be seen at the front and back going over the sprockets.
It's got a ton of flash, must have been a Friday arvo before a Public Holiday kit. Only saving grace is I only paid around $20 for it as it was in the clearance pile. Got a pretty good idea why
Will end up doing it in the splinter scheme of green, black & white using a combination of Mr Hobby & Tamiya acrylics which are my preferred paints and mounting it on some sort of snow themed base.

Kit brands. They're generally not bad, but I've found some to be a bit rough around the edges. OTOH, they have a lot of subjects you won't find anywhere else.
