So, i'm trying to keep the momentum up and working on a new kits for a different contest (over at the All Scale Trek forum), so I'm working a 1/2500 scale Akira Class Cruiser.
My plan for it is to paint it in a similar scheme to the Akira that I was playing in Star Trek Online (currently using a Galaxy class, and trying to grind so I can get a ship that doesn't turn like a whale).
So far, I've primered and sanded it to get the rough spots and to smooth out the areas I needed to use filler. Gonna hit it again with primer when the humidity drops some. Here are a couple pics
