1/144th Prometheus scratch build

Ello Mate,

The new job is fantastic, only draw back is the traffic getting to work in the mornings, 10 miles further but if i don't leave the house by 5;30am i only just make it by 7am and its only 30 miles. welcome to Miami.

As for the hand, very slow, and i do mean sllllloooooowww. I'm a craftsman of 30 years and to have my main tool ( my right hand ) broken as it is, is unbelievably frustrating. In the new job is not to bad because the wheels are pretty large, if i was still in my old job i wouldn't be able to do it.
My index finger, my thumb and my middle finger are all still 75% numb, i have no grip power what so ever in the hand. I'm still writing with my left hand, cleaning my teeth with my left hand, using the mouse with my left hand, my wife is so sick of me complaining i'm sure, i have to wait for the pain to subside every night before i can sleep, and on and on and on. I'm Not a happy camper right now.

Yes, you can have some cheese with that wine

I've tried i few hours at the bench but the frustration is just devistating and i seem to leave with less accomplished and more frustrated than when i sat down.

I'm trying to be positive but its very very hard. If would of know it was going to be this bad i would not of had the surgery and just suffered the pain, at least i could do something, anything.......

Sorry to be so negative but my wife just doesn't understand like you guys will.

Thanks for your concern, it means a lot

Tony

:'(

Please hang in there Tony! Sooner or later, your capabilities and talent will come back!

Patience is going to be the key with this, Tony.
For me, I was lucky that the hand I mangled in a warehouse was my off-hand. But I definitely see where your frustration comes in.
I can barely do anything with my left hand.

Time will heal it.
You have my thoughts and prayers.

Stay positive my friend, stay positive. I too have a medical condition that slows me down quite a bit. So I do understand a bit.

Hang in there bud... I know what it is like... was outta commission for a year and was so frustrated that I couldn't do anything. I know what you're going thru, but keep up the spirits and know that you'll be back before you know it!
