A nice update! If you are painting the balloon silver, are you worried about the seams? From the looks of it, that will be the tricky part.

OK, just from watching your video, it looks like the balloon part will have pretty bad seams, and silver paint loves to pick those out.

Breitling Orbiert 3 All Done The End


This one is a 1/144 Breitling Orbiter 3 By Heller

The model build was out of the box the only special techniques applied was some tabs to line up the top of the balloon as there was no pins in the joins.
Plus I used car spair cans two paint this one.
That's all the special techniques applied to this one
As for the build I started with the ring for the inside then put the 4 parts 1/2 of the bottom balloon 1/2
after it dried I had to use hot water to pull them back to shape then the top 1/2 balloon use tabs for the joins had to recarve the joints.
the rest was build as per the model.
But I left the one side unglue to show watt is at the back of it.
