This was an enjoyable build, after I walked away from it and came back 6 months later lol

I'm going to start on what I thought was an old F-1 car (1971) but this things is both ancient and awesome.

I love the details you put in and...was that camshaft cover (do not know what to call it) brass?

Yes it was brass, it was basically a 21.7 ltr aircraft engine, the car was built specifically for a land speed record where it achieved 146mph in 1924.

I saw 6 cylinders, and knew they had big displacement back then, but I had zero idea any 6 cylinder outside of naval/military or industrial duty had over 20 liters of displacement. My old hot-rod only has a 7 liter engine.

Oh wait, guess the fighter aircraft counts ;-)
