Amazing to see these come together!
It's almost as if you knew what you were doing.
A brother on another forum want to see what was in my head when he saw the Captain Popatopsky build. I replied with this image. 😏

The front end is together painted and detailed, the magneto is wired and some restraints made, painted the rear axel tubes the same color the car will be, it still needs bolts and gear covers detailed.

Really amazing work on the build! By the way, is that a Chevy Nova in the picture from 1978?
Thank you on the build Jersey, no that is a 67 Camaro the engine is a 66 327 .030 over, a sold lift Manly long circle track cam. Torker intake with an extra 2 inch spacer and 750 carb.

Getting close to being able to assemble the drive line, blower belt is on, the injector hat and lines are detailed, rear end and brakes are painted and detailed. Now i need to paint the bell housing and gear box and make the clutch fork push rod.

Body is almost ready for paint, need to wait till the humidity flood ends, i have actually had to bring the car inside the AC to get the paint to cure. About two more days and i can finish the detailing without everything sticking to my fingers. I also found a better set of fronts, the first ones were coming out so bad i was about to throw the whole car in the trash! 🤣 i have read the stories.

First real mockup, Testors translucent paints are great , if you give it a well prepared surface it hardly needs a clear coat. And like most of my builds it was by no means a perfect surface to start with. 🤣A few more little bits and it will be done. I think i have some bone shaker decals for it.

... Especially appreciate that you actually know what all those parts are: translates into 'the build just feels right'!
You know how it is, knowing what things are and making them this small are two different things. If you remember the second Topolino i did, post is topo 2, that is a printed version of the magic muffler altered from the 60s. on another forum the owner of the car commented the fuel lines being not quite right on my build, more like it would take a merical to work🤣, and he was very nice and gave us great pictures of the fuel lines and pump. So i guess i will put a few more hrs, into them now and make some things i usually slack on a little closer to real.
