'37 Ford Pickup Ratrod 1/25

I've decided to have a go at building out of my comfort, one.
I've shelved the Panzerkampfwagen V for a little while.
I'm making this truck for my daughter in her university colors Purple & White.

So, here goes....

Finally got the engine built. Man,that's alot of chrome!

Chassis is done. Then the rust undercoat, added chipping fluid. Waiting for it to dry to add the purple top coat.

I got the purple on and weathered. Still a little more to do.

Got the wood bed painted and the hood and grill done, so far.
I'll have to bring the drive shaft and transmission down somas it's not fitting properly

At some point, I'll be tackling a late 30s Ford pickup conscripted into desert patrol work with the LRDG as a pilot car. Probably not so much Chrome though!
