Holy pain in the wazoo! I was considering trying to do more 1/72 models but this makes me say No way Jose! I had temp glued the front panels in place so I could figure out just where everything is supposed to sit, this is not because the instructions are stellar! So many pieces just in this little bit of progress. 25 pieces to be exact and I don't have the front three pieces on yet. I'm planning on temp gluing them so I can display it with the front open.

Not much. It's slooow going with this kit. This tank is barely over four inches long about 1.5 in wide, 2.54cm in one inch- you metric people do your own math! Haha. Anyway 434 total parts in this kit. Aye. I built the diorama base, the turret(13 pieces-not sure what that is in metric), and two sets of wheels- royal pain in the butt. Anyway I hope this comes out well.

A bit more assembling this morning. Diagram wasn't great so it was trial and error on these wheel sets. Are they considered bogeys? Also did some putty work for the diorama base, mostly to eliminate the seems. I am determined to get all seven of my projects completed before starting anything new. I'm really going to try to limit myself to a tank and a plane once my bench is cleared. Maybe a boat too. But that's it! I'm drawing the line.

Sounds like a plan! I have similar aspirations, though not to reduce the number of kits, but to keep enough on the bench to get through the stash, and stay motivated!
Starting this July, the plan was to have three projects: one armour/soft skin, one plane and either a dio/base or a second vehicle/plane/other.

Well I have had some colorful language during this part of the assembly. Not sure I want to ever build anything this small again. I'm not sure what the part count was for this but the parts were tiny, the diagram sucked, and too many parts said "do not glue" felt like I was trying to stuff three cats in a pillow case. Ah damn, I have two 1/72 IBG kits waiting in my stash. Talk about tiny parts.
