This came to replace my 25+ year old rechargeable Dremel MiniMite. Charging a NiCad battery pack that old kinda scares me now.

Nice! I'm using a Gardell as well, and been pretty happy with it. It seems to hold a charge pretty long.
I see yours came with alternative collars and accessories... I ended up ordering those separately.

A variant of this one?
That's the one, yep. I had two copies of the 1:72 scale version of that kit until two weeks ago :) (Ten, fifteen years ago I had bought quite a bunch of 1:72 scale kits for wargaming, but as I haven't done that in about ten years, I decided to sell them last year. Two weeks ago there was the annual village-wide yard sale, so I put up most of those kits for sale. The first guy who showed any interest in them, bought the whole lot after a little bit of haggling.)

Believe it or not, when I got back into the hobby, I was certain that I would limit my vehicles to soft skin trucks and cars in North Africa...
Then it expanded to armoured cars, then full on armour. Now planes.
Armoured cars make very interesting builds. Check out this one from a while back.

The T28 Super Heavy Tank was a massive, turretless 95-ton prototype built by the U.S. Army at the end of WWII. Designed to breach heavy fortifications like the Siegfried Line, it featured 12 inches of frontal armor and a 105 mm gun. Only two prototypes were built; today, the last surviving unit is located at the National Armor and Cavalry Collection in Fort Moore (formerly Fort Benning), Georgia.

It was on my wish list. I was looking for ww1 armor but ran across this for $59! I've got two ships to build for practice before I get to the Mighty Mo but couldn't pass that up.
