Worked on this a little last night and this morning. It's an old cheap kit and requires a lot of cleanup. I realized there were no decals included in this kit so not sure what I'll do about that. I'd at least like a flag. I don't usually use Vallejo putty but I did on the hull because I thought it'd be easier- won't make that mistake again. I think I've sanded and reprinted the hull four times now and need to do it again.

Found the gun! Added the propellers and some more work up top. Some of this fit isn't the greatest two sets of stairs are floating but that was the least bad choice I had to make.

Regarding losing the piece I was guna say " I don't give a damn!" But truthfully, I was pistol I found it!

Airfix got back to me. Apparently there are no decals for this kit. I'm going to have to figure out how to add a flag. I tried printing my own decals and failed miserably. Anyway, they asked for information off the box, etc. hoping I hear back and can get these two pieces. I had emailed academy about a missing piece for my biplane about a month ago and have not heard a word. Not sure what I'm going to do about that. Worked on the lifeboats a bit today. Going to see what I can finish without the two parts.

Airfix contacted me and will send me the parts "if they're in stock" but will let me know. It took some time but they have responded well to my complaints and requests. They're apparently sending me the parts for free!
