Yeah the chains were cool, I was going to do more but it got too tedious... the tire chains and the boots clinch it for me!

I'm so damned lazy about posting and recent rough recovery from a pretty devastating leg
injury has knocked me off the mark for some time now. I'm slowly getting back into the swing
though, hopefully.
Many other distractions keep me from the bench, I know I gotta slow down and delegate more
but it's tough.

I can't help but think that the real vehicle would have been a pain to drive around in. It's kind of all-or-nothing, if you want any ventilation in the crew compartment. Not to mention that the angle of the sides of the crew compartment would be great for letting the rain in!
Also, it seems odd that the welding cylinders are stored right outside the left side cabin door. I wonder if they had general safety officers back then?![]()
