I would like to acknowledge all the Brothers and Sisters I had the Honor and Privilege to serve with throughout my career. you were all the best of the best. I would also like to thank all the Veterans past and present for their Service! Happy Veterans Day to one and all who have served this great Nation throughout it's great history.

Please post up if you're a Veteran, and share a photo if you'd like. Love to see our Vets!

Is that you in the picture Dan?

I've seen lots of those USMC portraits, they usually have a similar expression on their faces, those are taken shortly after getting out of boot camp right?

Speaking of USMC, happy day-late 250th birthday, take an extra shot for Chesty!

Actually I was Army, that's my graduation photo for US Army Military Police. I'm actually from the biggest and oldest military branch...lol. I leave the crayon eating for the Marines! :p

I was 0311 first then switched to 0331.

Thought so, saw all the MGs in the photo...lol. I used to carry the "Hog" all the time myself. Heavy beast, but man it was fun to operate.

I'm the Canadian just to the right of the door. I was the Canadian Army liaison officer to the MCoE at Fort Benning at the time. Three years of jumping and avoiding Canadian winters! Although the summers at Fort Benning were brutally hot and humid. Morning PT was like running in soup.

Awesome! Glad you had the opportunity to enjoy our great southern weather! Outstanding you experienced Benning and jump status for three years, sure you're knees are feeling it now. ;)

We were in the same complex, around the same times. A short walk to the MP school, PX (for an AAFES burger), wander to the Pistol Palace and all before B44.
Habe you seen the videos of what those buildings look like now? Kinda sad really.
Yes I have, it's a shame, but unfortunately we went through at the height of contamination all over post. Several places I served at, were closed and abandoned for several reasons. I did however, enjoyed every part of training there, had great Drills.
