My 26" SEAVIEW build.
This is NOT the Moebius, Lunar Models,Aurora or any other commercially available model kit.
This WAS a limited edition mixed media kit available in the 1990s of the Eight Window Boat.
However, She suffered severe damage in a shelf dive, so I elected to make it into a model of the 17'3" Seaview seen from the second to fourth season.
The original kit is NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
With all that out of the way, I air brushed the sub a series of colors(The Seaview was never, ever light ghost grey).
Sorry no rattle can colors are one size fits all. You have to mix the colors...
I also fitted it with lights and the faux interior seen on the actual Miniature.
Thanks!

So… the various shades in the hull color… did you airbrush layers or was any sanding involved? Did you use any kind of elevated mask paper? i assume you were working off some photos of the original studio model or maybe you just freelanced? it looks amazing.

All the painting was done on purpose, based on my reference material of the actual 17'3" Filming miniature. That rubbish that started years ago about it being light ghost grey is just that...Rubbish. All done via air brush.

Here are the correct colors.
