Have the old Revell Stuka with the snake decals in the box and of course the minute I pulled one of the decals out of the water one decal turned into many pieces so cruised ebay didn't have very much luck so here I am does anyone know where to get any 1/32 scale JU87 -B decals doesn't have to be the Snake version but I already painted the model in a tropical camo scheme thanks for your time

Thanks for the information went to the website and of course it's out of stock right now I'm almost done with finishing up this kit with the original scheme and go with whatever I can but it must be marked with a tropical division gonna have to go back into history and dig up something thanks again

Damn, that sucks! Had the same thing happen on a recent JU-88 kit made in the late '90s. They looked okay before they hit the water, no cracks, no yellowing.

I'm not able to help you out with my spares, but wish you luck.

Thanks much appreciated the response looks like I might have to go the ebay route I was looking there and there was a couple of Snake decals for 35 to 40 bucks a sheet and being shipped from Ukraine not that I care it takes weeks to receive it!!

camo pattern
I've only done a few camo patterns, and on vehicles, and with a brush!
So you are in uncharted territory for me...
The air guys might have more relevant opinions with they knowledge and experience.
From the work I've seen in this forum, and I do follow most of the builds, there seems to be a lot of different patterns, depending on plane, theater and period.
I've just started using rattle can for primer and/or base colour, and it is hard to be subtle!

Washes can be used to tone down the intensity when necessary, like if you think the green pops too much.

I can feel your pain. I just went through a similar experience with a 1/48 Mosquito that I am building in 418 Sqn RCAF markings. It took a long time to find the discontinued decals, then they fell apart when wet.
Have you ever thought of making your own stencils and just painting on the markings? There are some good youtube videos on making stencils from adhesive tape or some of the commercially available stencil films.
In the past I have made some of my own stencils by drawing the marking on paper, or printing the simple design, then placing it under a thin piece of glass (tape it to the underside of the glass), then I would put some painter's tape onto the top of the glass and trace the pattern onto the painter's tape and cut it out with a hobby knife. I also found that the clear plastic disposable food containers also work well.
If you still have most of the original decal sheet you could simply put that under the glass/plastic and use that for your template.
I have also found that a couple of layers of scotch tape can also work. Just make sure you "de-tack" it a bit before sticking it to the glass. That improves your chances of pulling the stencil off the glass without tearing it.
The German markings should be simple to do because they are mostly made of straight edges.
If you choose to use a brush to paint over the stencils I'd recommend using a dry brush technique so that you don't build up paint edges around the edges of your stencils.
Please post photos of your results it you decide to give the homemade stencils a try.
Good luck!

They look great!

Sometimes results can be weighed as much by the recovery from adversity as any other barometer, and you my friend passed with 5-stars!
