Not my first go at 1/350 but the first one I've finished , scratchbuilt masts as the kit ones where made of spagetti lol , i know it's overdone with the weathering but

I know where to improve on the next one at least :)
 
Now that's just stupidly brilliant.

I love model ships, but I've yet to have the balls to have a go.

Stuart I just bought a cheap (12 quid I think) 1/350 from hobbyboss for a practice go first time round , not a great kit obviously for that price but had a go with railings and rigging and get a feel for things.

Not a bad idea Mark. I do have a 1/700 kit in the stash but it does seem a tad on the small size - I think 1/350 would be better.
