Teeny tiny Razor Crest

Primed and waiting a bit to start painting. I think I am going to try some home-made paint masks in a couple of spots.

Well, I tired some paint masks, but not the ones I intended. I used the included stickers to use as "reverse" masks on the windows. Then I applied the silver. The silver is one of the new Vallejo metal colors.

When I peeled the stickers up, they left a film behind. So I masked with masking tape, and repainted the windows.

Maybe I could have chosen a bigger model to try out making my own paint masks.

The paint masks were a bust. The paint was too runny. I decided to go back to the stickers that came with. Which look ok. I am going to coat and then try a coating and a wash.

At least Bandai's stickers are fairly thin.
Your results look pretty good

Put it up next to the 1:144 X-Wing Vehicle Model and it looks like its pilot could fit into the small Razor Crest cockpit along with three others.

Finished it up with some Flory clay-based wash. Calling it done.
