NOW COMPLETE: Spanish Panzer I Ausf. A Breda 1/16 AMMO/Takom

So, since my last update I have only done the exhausts and their covers. Here is a pic of the latter, which I just finished tonight! The main thing with this is that I learnt a new technique: using scotch-brite scouring pads as a stencil for the rust undercoat. I loved it!

Very nice look achieved on the shrouds .. was the rust colour laid down first, and then the iron grey..?

Hey @Belugawrx,

It's three different rust acrylics from Ammo over a German Dark Brown primer. I applied each through a bit of scotch-brite. Then chipping fluid, then German Olivgrün, then distressed it with a wet flat brush. There wasn't any grey, though.

Regards,

Enrique

Looks spot on.
Thanks, @dogfish7 . I am terrible at handling small bits and broke all the tiny tabs used to attach these photoetch shrouds to the tank...not fun. So far the first thing I've learnt is never again to buy Takom. Another is that you guys are super nice, but FB is full of rivet counters!

Ha ha -- it seems we've never had hard-core rules here so , NO . ,, and that wouldn't be a thing either way .
I think everyone here follows what is going on . Mission Complete as far as I'm concerned .

We really don't have a WIP and a different schedule for the completed builds ,, BUT , Please share some more photos of this beautiful build !

Thank you very much! I hope I am not infringing any rules by mentioning my channel either? I don't want to be too spammy.

Here are some more pics, kind sir!

That's a great build, RT! Your weathering is nice and subtle, and you have the hang of the dot-filter process. The nice thing about using an oil paint filter is that if you don't like how it looks, you can wipe it away and start over.
Now your only decision is where to display it. At 1/16 scale, even a small tank is pretty big.
