Much work to do still on the tunic as the base color has been painted so that I can now begin the shading, highlighting and "wool effects" using pointillism techniques. The technique requires hours of creating subtle patterns using various "dots" of tones of the base color to achieve texture and patterns. This is a great new kit from Nemrod and you can get yourself one right here if interested: shop.lastcavalry.com/nemrod-ww1-french-poilu-1916-bust/

Just about completed, a little more clean-up, add the Verdun nameplate after I fix the lettering, and it's done. The nameplate is a actually a piece of shrapnel that I picked in Verdun near Fort Douamont.
