Fair warning, this one's a bit pic heavy

Hey, folks,
Spent Saturday May 26. 2012 up at Hill Air Force Base for their open house and air show.
The weather was...less than perfect.
The show was basically shut down by rain for almost two hours in the middle as a storm front passed over.
Good news was, despite the weather going totally south on us, we got to see the Thunderbirds perform their show.
Now, for what pics I did take:
Myself, my mother Connie, and my son Jonathan on the flight line.
And yes, that's fresh snow on the moutains behind us

Thanks, guys.
Happy to share.

And Spud, you're right. I got my height from my Dad. Just like my son got his from me.
(His mom's the same size as mine ;) )

Fleet week just ended here in NY and the Blue Angels airshow flew over Jones beach. The planes take off from Republic Airport which is 5 minutes from my business and all weekend long they fly over head. I never get the chance to go to the show but this year I did manage to see the Angels fly by in diamond formation, a pair of F-17's, a P-51 Mustang, and a Flying Fortress. Folks were telling me they had an F-22 hovering about 300' in the air over the ocean....quite the sight to see. 150 plus million and it's an airshow prop. Egats!

Spud, my friend,

My great grand-dad came over from Ireland. No name change, Spud.
Although, now, there are probably more Rileys in the US than in Ireland
