nope noting wrong thats vellajo for ya. have a cotton swaby thing at hand with a drop of ab cleaner on it and just wipe the needle then hit air so ya wont get ab cleaner on yet paint.

you can get a Retarder, http://www.emodels.co.uk/plastic-kits/vallejo-17ml-drying-retarder-acrylic-modelling-paint-p-1196.html, just add 1 or 2 drop to yet cup stir in and you will be fine
