Well, let's say it's as far as I'm going to take it at this point.

Excellent work.
Thank you. There's some mistakes but I'm not entering in any modeling contest so I'm good with it. I should have put decals on the weapons pylons off the plane but no, did I do that? Nope. But this model was a learning curve for me. Decals. Sometimes I suck at them so I found an old pair of tweezers and ground on it a little bit here and there and made a nice pair of tweezers for gripping the super small decals and then pulling it off the paper without screwing it up. Basically on the top tweezer part on the very end shape it like an arrow with a tiny teeny tiny round nub on the very tip. The bottom part of the tweezers is smooth. That way you can reach deep into the decal and put the rounded end on the tiny decal you want and then press down a little bit and pull it out.

Funny you say that. I saw the pix and thought how great the "danger" decals on the intakes look. I totally would've flubbed that.

Very nice work.
Thank you. Those danger decals came in two options. I chose the whole one which made me let it dry a little bit so I could use a razor blade and cut it in and then Mark set formed it right in. But I screwed up one whole side of the tail with the Stars.. putting those stars on the tail was hard. And then I got one side perfect and I ruined it with weathering. Can you see me shaking my head in shame?

Doh! Always a such a drag when you make errors like that. Ah well, it happens. At least you can position it so you only see the other side. And overall it looks fantastic.

Since my return to modeling I've come to think of decals as one of the hardest parts. So easy to make mistakes.

YES Rob a very fanstastic model an again the finish is in my honest opion the same
very well done an i can see no problem with them stars

Thanks Chris. No there's nothing wrong with the Stars it took a long time to put that on and I clear coated it and when that dried I put a wash on it and I went to scrub it off and that's when stuff went South. I probably should have put on a thicker clear coat. I tried rubbing it off the usual way we do it and it started going into the primer and I said the hell with it
