That is what I would call "dark", and deservedly so, this surmises the Ostfront in a few pictures of a plastic thing.

Many things can be called "dark and deservedly so" ...too many. Such as my deceptively depicted affection (armor nut wise)
of the 'Elephant' SPG, by showing her in a deep dark decline. Weirdly brings to mind another sort of deception in another
sort of "world" one might think of me as a "two tier.........well never mind

deceptively depicted affection
... it is not as deceiving as you might think... the world of art has many examples of lovingly depicted foibles and eccentricities, warts and failings.

I think that it is the mark of an artistic temperament, to see past that first superficial judgement I know that I am often too quick to pass.

On the other hand, there is the old adage: "a face only a mother could love".

Cheers

Wow! that's deep, I had no idea I had such depth  ;)

It's a shame that so much time, effort and materials were wasted on such a debacle of a project,
as a matter of fact anything beyond the Panther was totally nonproductive and a terrible drain of
precious brain power, manpower, materials etc...

The bugs were not even worked out of Panther before being hurriedly shunted off to battle, mostly
engine overheating problems and over engineering.
Of course the obscene list of super heavies (too many to list here) are yet another unfathomable enigma.
Hitler's philia for "big things" EH_HEM.....may just have cost Germany the war:p
