All right , Bruce ;D you got me working on this here thing once again .

I've done the ' reactor module ' in gold ( gold , silver and amethyst ) and the aft engineering hull in nickel to start and then many coats of silver .. . I forgot just how slow a process this is to build any color.

I think it actually looks way better in real life than in these picks
A lot of the color depth doesn't come through ..





I got these two inks many weeks back just for this project ,, mainly for the engineering hull :




.... Never know what effects to expect with a new color .
I think the powdered dye stains used for textiles give me some of the coolests effects ---- plus , without the alcohol solvent that is present in the inks , they don't do krazy things to the curing process


I think I'll use the tangerine on the next , center section of the E-hull ;D :

The windows are going to work into it really well .
I need to clean up and redefine the lettering borders and then I'll do colors in the field .

It's going to be cool when the windows are in and it's lit from within .

The maneuvering thrusters and pylons remind me of a jester's hat , so They'll get painted in that vein
