The D-7 shown in the remastered "The Trouble with Tribbles" episode even had paneling on it much like the K'T'Inga, just more subtle. If you were to sand the panels most of the way down on the big PL K'T'Inga kit it would be a fair representation of the remastered D-7. it would help if you reaaaaally liked sanding of course.
