So as this build is creeping towards completion I ponder getting the 1/350 K'tinga. I WANT a in scale D-7 class, but I am not paying $300 for a resin kit(though it looks incredible). So my GF had what could be a crazy idea, but one that I can maybe, just maybe get behind: painting A K'tinga up like the D-7 and calling it a day. As she points out, the two ships are basically the same, other than detailing and the K'tinga being a few feet larger all around.
