in today's market, that's actually not a ridiculous price.
people are asking a lot more for a lot less.
I went looking for a "Mean Maverick" kit, but the $1000 price tags made me laugh.
Like you say, this kit has metal parts and all the RC bits. Even a battery?

don't think I'd ever pay that much for a scale model tank, but considering its rarity and size...
regardless I'd love to see the finished product.

I got that kit for my b-day in I think '79 .
I don't remember exactly what the price back then was -- I wanna say 180 . Maybe 120 . .. it was a hundred and something for sure .
By best friend then got one after seeing mine , haha .
It's a great kit .
