Tamiya 1/24 Subaru Impreza WRC 2004 Rally Japan

Found this on ebay and thought I'd take it on as my 1st car build.

Kit was in good shape except for the left A-pillar that was a bit bent. Decided to brace it hope it will kind of fix it and leave it till I start with the body.

Any tips on mending or parts or bend it back in shape?

Not so sure about your pillar problem, you could incorperate it as some kind of damage if you can't fix it, if its only bent then very gentle heating and careful manipulation might help?

Build is going slower than expected, other things taking up my time.

Finished the underside of the car over the weekend, will post some pics later. But snapped one of the steering arms on the front right wheel when putting the wheel on

Managed to glue it back together and get it working sort off. Can always use it to my advantage when weathering making it look like a rock struck the wheel and broke the suspension etc.
