Reminds me of my first ride in an iroquois. I was in the gunner's seat looking out to the side. The chopper took off fast and banked 80-85 deg to my side. Suddenly, all I saw where tree tops. Though I had a seat belt on, my hands instantly jammed into the ceiling, but soon realized I was not subject to gravity but to the gyroscopic effect which held me into my seat. I was able to let my hands down without falling out of the chopper.
