Mmmm... some of the maps (the second one from the right) remind me the ones in the Avalon Hill´s classic superhit "Advanced Squad Leader"...

They were like this one, there were are lot of them and were "isomorphic"

Jelly, there are 2 maps in the game, global and city fight. You are right it is inspired by classical wargames.
