Hey guys. I recently finished the sturm-infanteriegeschutzpanzerwagenjagerstrissenfluffel. OK, so the name isn't really that long, but it's so much easier to just say sIG 33b. Anyway, this is from the newer Dragon kit, but with a few modifications. I liked the idea of a mobile pillbox, so I added T-34 track (mounted high) and several Soviet weapons from the Miniart pack.

Enjoy!

Thanks guys

your mud looks great how did you do it?

I made several layers. The first layer was a mix of a little "Mud in a pot" by Reality in Scale and a little Mig AMMO Russian Earth. The next layer was plaster, pigment, and water. Finally, I came back with a little pigment, coffee grounds, and Vallejo matt varnish.

The coffee grounds worked well, but many of the grounds were too course. So, if you are thinking about this, try espresso grind. And yes, they work just as well AFTER you've had your java.

thats really interesting way to make mud, i will have to give this a try. thank you very much for your advice and your secrets. it came out great!
