Nice project and realistic paint application, what you gonna do next?

Thanks. I am gathering info on a Tamiya Sherman, plus I have to finish up a StuG III with The Hippo Team markings from Girls und Panzer.

The tow cable looks nice and twisty and jinked, like its done some work

Believe it or not, that tow cable is the nylon cable that came with the kit. I painted that Testors gun metal.

Nice work here. What colour mix did you use for the paint scheme?

Dave
.

Thanks Dave.
I mixed Tamiya paints.7 pts XF2 + 2 pts XF59 + 2 pts XF3.

I think it came out a bit to yellow. It is supposed to be BS 61 light stone.

C.D.,

Tamiya yellow can be quite strong. Perhaps it was too much in this case? The colour looks pretty good though.

Very nice!
I like allied desert stuff myself, ( and now a newby in sherman tanks question) so is this a early version of the sherman tank? The bottom look like the same as a M3 grant.

Thanks Zappa.
This is one of the most earliest Sherman variants. Some M4A1,like this, and the M4A2 used the M3 Lee/Grant bogies.
