I would like to share with you my latest build, the Trumpeter Mil Mi-24V Hind E, 1/35 scale and built OOB. The kit itself was a fun build with minimal fitting problems.
Tamiya acrylics and enamels were used for painting while pastels and oils were then used for weathering purposes.
The kit sports the amoeba/shamrock pattern that depicts a gunship unit in Afghanistan War of the 1980s.
The kit is 1/3 of my 'Bagram Troika' build of Mi-24, Mi-17 and Su-25 (included in BSC 2012).
Nicknamed 'Shaitan Arba' or 'Satan's Chariot' the Hind is a fearsome weapon that inflicted heavy damage on infantry, tanks and other vehicles.
Stingers, ZPU and ZSUs fire away! ;D
