Second entry. This one is a figure from Scale 75. It's 75mm (roughly 1:24 scale), and it's produced in metal.
Here's some close ups:
- Mandatory box photo. For all you fans of unboxing.
- Sculpted base.
- Lower body. Doesn't fit into the base properly, the right foot slot needs to be removed I think. Or the slot on the base can be widened out a bit. There's one annoying seam line down the right side ribcage. But, a quick filing will clean it up no problem.
- Upper body, front and back. The right armpit needs some epoxy filling. But that's it.
- The shield. There's some flash here and there and a small seam. But looks easy to clean up.
- Hands with axes, and ponytail. I didn't look too closely but I didn't see any obvious cleanup spots.
This is probably the cleanest metal kit I've seen. Ever. And most detailed metal kit as well. I suspect the Scale 75 kit that Spud is doing is also highly detailed.
Gonna be working on this one when I can't work on the Orbship (while it's drying, or while I'm waiting for parts and things, or when I get angry at PE).
Cheers for looking,
Derek.
