Revell F-14A Tomcat

I'm calling this one done. Not my best job, but not my worst.

I made it where the canopy can be removed so you can get a good look in the cockpit.

I know I goofed on the decals, but that was me being tired when I was putting them on. I also went with light weathering or at least I tried. Very much a novice when it comes to modern aircraft.
 
I've never built any (not since I wad a kid), and watching you guys it seems there are whole other sets of issues and challenges compared to military vehicles!
I like your colour choices, and degree of finish overall. The swing wing weathering looks great!
 
Got a lot of paint down on it, and went through about a 1/2 roll of masking tape making everything off.

I free handed the red edging around the doors. could of been better, but an ok job.

I am pleased with the canopy. I think that is the best job I've done so far with painting the frame.
I wouldn't worry too much about getting paint on the canopy while trying to hand paint the frame. If you do get any paint on the canopy just let it dry and take a toothpick and run it around the edge of the frame. The paint comes right off and you're left with a decent looking canopy. I m o
