Well the hovertank is almost done so it's time to start on something new.
I've wanted to try my hand at making a gunship/ground attack craft.
I made a boatload of sketches and finally came up with this design.
Some Star Wars ,a little Halo and some Jerry Anderson.







The bottom turret will be made from a Gerpard AA turret the front radar unit will be removed and a
gunner's seat and view port will be scratchbuilt . Here is the nose in the works.

I'd like to scratchbuild a spacecraft as yo do, from other kits or... how do you call it in English "the box where you keep many (many !) remaining kit pieces or plastic pieces from the house (caps, cans, bottles, shower gel containers,... recovered in the bin as soon as your wife turns her back on!).

Briefly, I have a seat and I'm ready to learn from your WIP!

Philbouq I'm just a novice at this you should checkout the great work that
The Nylon Gag has done. I've started on the bottom turrret and I like the shape.
I think it will look pretty good hanging under the ship with a gunner seated at a large glass port.

I always thought that turret looked incredibly sci-fi-ish. Can't wait to see what you do with it.

Although, when you are holding it upside down, it resembles the head of a walker. I guess that's one more idea I need to jot down.

I cut a piece of aluminum for the base of the body.
I plan on skinning the body out in evergreen and build up levels
and layers. Lots of grebbles from the spares box and I need to find some cockpit
parts for the turret as I don't have a lot of aircraft parts.

I got to sling a little more plastic on the body. I need to work out some of the
upper hull shape but that's the fun part when you have no instructions to follow.

Love the turret! It's really looking great so far
