The one time I used Alclad black base went very well. But I put it on in thin coats and let it sit for a day between coats. So that might be the key....

Yeah , I too have shot th Black Primer & Th Gloss Black Base with Zero problems. I too shot it in 2 thin coats & the Factory Rep suggested that I let it sit for 6 days ! So I did & had no problems when I went to shoot th Chrome over it & th Transparent Red !!
Actually I was really impressed with this one ... you can even see th reflection of th Bumper in th red !! I love Me some AlClad !!! I wish They'd do an Orange color .... so I could do th General Lee !!
