I've been told that they still need to be uv cured. Don't if that is true or not, just a bit of helpful info I hope
Yes you should cook the parts again , putting them in the sun for a couple of hrs, does the trick if you dont have a UV lamp.;) After cooking clean the parts with alcohol and tooth brush then set them in the sun again for a bit to really dry them good.
 
I'm new to the whole 3d printed thing... and the shop I bought it from replied to me that it wasn't necessary... what is the purpose of 'cooking' the parts again?
I think it was more for powder printed parts, different process that leaves a nasty coating on the parts and a little soft the UV cook hardens them up better. But you have to clean the gunk off first so the light gets to the plastic better. All the 12 cyl engines i will be posting were made with this process.

This is waaaay different than anything I've seen...
The parts were done by a printing service for 3d model specialties, you can look up his parts but he only sells the files now. Some are done in powder and some in liquid, most of the things we get now are filament, like fishing string fed under the laser. Liquid is the best very smooth no lines or sprews.
