Now it is time for paint. This is the Academy M3 Medium Tank {Lee} with Formations quick fix bogie set and the Legends M-31 conversion set. The white bits are parts I replaced using Evergreen items as the resin parts were too warped or miss-formed. Tow cables are two pieces of .010 fly tying wire twisted by hand and tow cable ends glued on. Now on to the paint shop!

Mmmm a very interesting subject, Mr Blanton. Very atypical (at least to me).

A truly eye-catcher.

Cheers

"After Action" M-31 T.R.V.

So here's whats been going on lately with the 1/35th scale M-31 T.R.V.
"After Action" is the name I have given the vehicle. The unit is the 191st Independent Tank Battalion serving in Italy and eventually participated in operation Dragoon in 1944. The name "After Action" is ficticious of course but not too many images exist of M-31 during the war, I have found a dozen or so. At the behest of a friend I went forward with the cammo painting. The markings are a mix of decals and dry transfers. The name on the door was done using a white art pencil.
