lost gearshift on revell mcm 69 camaro

Hello, can anyone point me in the right direction, i did a purple wash on chrome, and when i went to wash and dry, the gearshift was gone, think it went to the sewer pipe. what i need is a replacement shifter so i can button up the interior, help please

Scratchbuild it? A piece of wire or styrene rod of the right diameter, dip the end in C/A a few times ( letting it dry in between) till the knob is the right size... It's worked for me in the past.
