Hi, I'm looking for a kit that would make a nice old pulpwood truck project. Preferably a 1967-1972 Chevy C-60 in 1:24 or 1:25 scale if I can find one. If I can't come up with something in that particular era, an older 1950's year model would be even better. As long as I can get the cab and chassis, I think that I might can come up with the rear differential, front suspension, engine and tranny, on Ebay. And scratch build the rest of the upper chassis mounted loader parts, the boom assembly, the standards, cables, pulleys and chains etc.
These old trucks have fascinated me since I was a kid and I would like to build a nice old weathered and worn example of one of them. So, any help or guidance that you fine folks can help me with would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Slang
