My Daughter wanted a pirate ship, I had to oblige.

Thank you, the kit was horrible. The molds at the factory are not in proper alignment, so much shaving and sanding. The two hull halves would not align properly, I discovered that one half was longer by a sixteenth of an inch.
Made for a great learning experience.

Back in 2008 I recieved the 1/96 USS Constitution. At that time the last model I had completed was an A-6 Intruder back in 1998. The Connie was such a daunting beast to try to get back into the hobbie. I managed to get the hull painted and the two decks done and tied down cannonsand that's as far as I went.
